Anchor ("we," "us") is operated by Anchor Technologies Inc. This policy explains what we collect and how we use it.

Information we collect

Account information: your email address, used to create and secure your account.

Session information: records of the audio sessions you complete, including the text you enter about how you're feeling, the steadiness ratings you provide before and after a session, and which audio track you were guided to.

Usage information: basic technical data needed to operate and improve the app.

How we use your information

To provide the app's core function: guiding you to a relevant audio practice and showing you how your session went.

To maintain your account and your session history.

To understand how the app is used so we can improve it.

How your information is stored and processed

We use trusted third-party service providers to run Anchor:

Supabase — secure database and authentication (stores your account and session data).

OpenAI — processes the text you enter about how you're feeling in order to guide you to a relevant practice. This text is used only to provide that guidance.

We do not sell your personal information.

Data retention

We keep your account and session information for as long as your account is active. You may request deletion of your account and associated data at any time by contacting us.

Your choices

You can request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information by emailing us at the address below.

Children

Anchor is not intended for use by anyone under 18.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by the "Last updated" date above.
